and we're in!
so yes its been almost a month since i've shared the house with anyone
we were supposed to get keys on may 4 originally so my parents booked a flight to come out and help us fix and move! so dad was coming on may 4 to knock out some big stuff like the bathroom and mom was coming on may 8 since my vacation didn't start until may 9 (which was also mother's day so i thought it would be nice to give my mom a paint brush for mother's day-jk). so nice of them until we got the call the there was a court issue and we would not get keys until may 7. so mom looked into changing dad's to may 8 to fly with her and it just didn't make sense money-wise. so dad was going to get some quality time with rob that did not involve working on a house. so dad comes in and on may 5 he goes with me to sign the escrow paperwork!! then we find out that we are not getting keys on may 7- that is the final day for the court confirmation! we are not going to get the keys until probably may 11. wtf. we told out landlord we'd be out by may 15 so he could renovate and what not. not to mention if we are going to redo the floors that does not give us enough time for them to dry. oh boy! our agent realized she f-ed up big time!!some how some way she got us our keys on may 10. so that first week was ridiculous!! but thanks to mom and dad and rob's brother we somehow got a lot done! i am in no way saying everything is done...rob is working on the bathroom as i type, our bed is in the dining room, and the majority of out belongings are boxed up in the garage, but
